Seventeen years ago, Jimmy sold me my first carving to be sold in my Gallery.
I have stayed friends with him since that fateful day.
For over a decade, his loon was my logo.
EVERGREEN is a perfect example of one of Jimmy's loons.
As the years pass, each Jimmy Iqaluq loon has been more awe inspiring and more beautiful.
Each bird is carved with love and precision.
Evergreen has the requisite rounded head, red eyes, exquisitely detailed feathers and perfect proportions.
When you see these birds in person, you will understand my admiration for Jimmy and his loons.
Jimmy is an Inuit Elite Master Carver.
He is one of the few Master Carvers from this pioneering generation who is still actively carving.
I will hazard a guess that this Loon will be handed down from your collection to generations of your family.
If you don't have one of Iqaluq's loons in your collection, then from my perspective, your collection is not complete.
