This is an outstanding, completely original mother loon and with her baby by world famous Inuit artist Jimmy Iqaluq from Sanikiluaq. It is a museum quality piece; will worth three/ four times the price when jimmy stops carving.

This beautiful Loon measures 13.5 inches long by 4.5 inches tall, 4 inches wide. It's BIG!
To give a brief overview of this sculpture is like trying to describe why a beautiful woman is so beautiful. The picture speaks for itself. What I can say is this carving is from Jimmy Iqaluq. He is famous for his loons as one sits in Ottawa’s national art museum of fine arts. He is among the 5 elite Inuit artists in Canada and has exhibitions that have toured all over the world.

His pieces are valued very highly. This carving is in perfect condition, brand new. The carving is signed on the bottom and comes with an igloo tag. Exhibitions: Jimmy Iqaluq (1947 - present) Community: Sanikiluaq
